Memory Café Committee

Monthly gathering of individuals with mild to moderate dementia, their caregivers and volunteers. Our volunteers oversee outreach, marketing, setup/breakdown, activity planning and participation. We strive to create a safe environment for activities for connection, engagement and interaction along with creating a sense of community for the individuals and their caregivers.

• Monthly meetings.
• Event planning: activities, location, supplies.
• Participant communication.
• Promotion to community members for new participants.
• Education for new volunteers on communication with individuals with dementia.
• Encouragement for connection not only for the caregivers but with our volunteers.

We would like to recruit at least 3 additional people who are willing to help with all responsibilities, but especially promote the NAZADA Organization.
